Install Pragha 1.2.2 On Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 12.04 And Derivative Systems




 Hello friends. As you may know, Pragha is an open-source lightweight music player developed in GTK+ and having a simple interface. Among others, it has support for the most popular audio formats, uses SQLite for its music database and a twin-panel design, allows the users to search in the playlist via Ctrl+F, has an equalizer feature and integrates well with GNOME. Unfortunately, it provides only some basic functions, satisfying only the users that only want to listed to music.


The latest version available is Pragha 1.2.2, which comes only with fixes for some already known bugs.


how to install Pragha 1.2.2 on Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 17 Qiana, Linux Mint 13 Maya, Pinguy OS 14.04, Pinguy OS 12.04, Elementary OS 0.3 Freya, Elementary OS 0.2 Luna, Deepin 2014, Peppermint Five, Linux Lite 2.0, LXLE 14.04, LXLE 12.04

Because it is available via PPA, installing Pragha 1.2.2 on Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 12.04 and derivative systems is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the pragha package. Like this:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntuhandbook1/apps
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install pragha







Optional, to remove Converseen, do:


$ sudo apt-get remove pragha
